how dribbleshield™ works

At the highest level, soccer is a chess match. Eleven players take the field with the goal to outwork, outplay, and more importantly, outsmart the opposing team.

The intriguing aspect of the game is that pure aggression and hustle are not enough to bring success. A player who desires success must become a student of the game, learning to read and execute tactics while on the field of play. One of the greatest hindrances to success is a player's lack of field vision resulting from the constant focus on the ball rather than on the game.

Our mission at DribbleShield™ Sports is to provide sports training tools that will aid and assist in the further development of athletic achievement. We believe that bringing vision to an athlete's game, by training them to dribble with their head up, will accelerate their confidence and increase their ability to read the game.

After spending two years with members of both the United States and the Brazilian National teams, inventors at DribbleShield™ Sports set out to create a tactical training tool that would assist in teaching players to dribble, pass, and play while focusing their eyes on the field.

At the highest level of play, when players consistently keep their head down, they forfeit their ability to compete. The greater the competition, the more a player must rely on tactics to accomplish the objective. A good player must use both the mind and the ball, much like a chess match, to overcome the competitor.
